Are You Turning Your Tassel Today?

Later this evening, I graduate from Government Academy, a weekly exploration of local government that I began in March. It’s a fitting day since today is National Graduation Tassel Day, dedicated to all graduates. While graduating from any school level is extremely important, I instead want to focus on how we level up as writers.

There are so many ways to improve our writing. Just about everyone has a course or class for purchase. While some of those are very good, there are many other ways to improve our skills.

For me, the act of writing every day helps me level up. Every sentence I write is a chance to learn, grow, and improve. Likewise, reading and editing content for others allows me to see what works, what I like, and areas where I can improve my writing.

You might not be graduating from a program today, but what are you doing to improve as a writer? How can you graduate from where you are now to a new level of writing skills? Hit reply and let me know.
