Get Ready for NaNoWriMo
We’re about two weeks away from this year’s National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). The annual challenge encourages writing 50,000 words in November — it amounts to about 1,667 words per day. Are you up for the challenge?
Note that NaNo isn’t always about novels. Sure, the official nonprofit has its focus, but I love the idea of dedicating a month to an intense writing challenge.
Maybe you’re looking to pick up a pen and start writing for the first time. Perhaps it’s been a while, and you want to create again. Or, maybe you’ve always wanted to try writing in a different genre and needed a good excuse.
Whatever your reason, create your own challenge this November. Make it something that isn’t easily achievable, so you have to put in the effort and create the discipline.
For the next week, my book, Write Now: How To Pursue Your Dream And Start Writing Today!, is on sale in every Amazon store. Plus, I’ll randomly send a free digital copy to someone who responds to this email or post with how you’re challenging yourself this November. My book is filled with encouragement to write now and could be the inspiration you need to get moving.
Please respond to this, and let’s see what your November challenge is all about. I’ll compile a list and check in with you during November. I’m all about encouragement and accountability here.
You have two weeks to prepare. Are you ready? Let’s go!
