Review
Madame Web
This could have been good if the writing was better. The first half is about an hour too long and completely uninteresting. The second half isn’t bad. The idea of Adventures In Babysitting with Superpowers could have been fun if they leaned into it a bit more. Instead, the three girls are just kind of baggage for the plot and to give the main character something to be empathetic toward. The girls are basically the cat that need saving over and over again. Also, “guy wants to kill teenage girls” is not a good look for Marvel.
