Review
This one was a bit much. The world of John Wick is one where everyone is either an assassin or someone so accustomed to violence that they don't stop driving or dancing when they see literal murders occurring around them. This film also takes the notion of choice, a construct set up and played into heavily with the first two sequels, and flips it around saying, "no, actually, you don't have a choice and institutions can't be changed." Kind of an odd turn. I'm still not really sure where Ballerina fits into the timeline — he's excommunicated but happens to do a job for fun? Strange.
