Who are you?

Perry Atwal – Lecturer with the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada

What do you write?

I write with the aim to help others by sharing wisdom and ideas that I have seen work in multiple areas of life. The desire to want to make a difference drove me to start writing. I absolutely love what I do because it makes me feel as if I am fulfilling a purpose and doing far beyond what I have done in the past. I believe it is important to discuss all themes in a respectful and empathetic manner.

Where do you write?

Like writing in my home office and work office, preferably just after going on a long walk. My offices have everything that I need – multiple screens, snacks and solitude. Write directly into MS Word as so used to using extensively for work.

When do you write?

Like to write early in the day, typically between hours of 4-8am, and either before or after a long walk. Normally don’t do more than 2 hours at a time – set my own deadlines as to when feel tired.
