LOST – The Constant
Ok, so last week I went and spoiled LOST for my west coast friends via my Facebook status so this week I’m going to be a little more tactful. I’ve gone and made the status very generic and now I’m going to say if you haven’t seen tonight’s episode, and you don’t want to know what happened, STOP READING.. Yeah, I just told people not to read my writing. Deal with it.
So tonight’s episode, The Constant, was a great episode though I don’t think I’ve quite wrapped my mind around what happened. We were treated to a few revelations, particurally about the nature of Desmond’s “time travel” experiences from last season and why Faraday is on the island — the guy studies time travel! But what we finally got to see happen was Desmond and Penny reconnect, all be it over the phone.
I really don’t know what more to say, so I’ll let the master of LOST blogging say the rest:
Truth be told, I’m having trouble putting into words how I feel immediately following that episode. It was puzzling yet revealing, action packed yet quietly beautiful, and almost had me tearing up at the end. Easily the best episode thus far this season, it might just be one of the best episodes of Lost of all time. I loved this episode.
