Gravatars are Cool
You might be wondering what the little graphics are next to the various comments here on the blog. Some people have weird images and others have pictures of themselves — which are equally weird. My site, along with a large number of other blogs on the interwebs, support Gravatars. According to their site, Gravatars are globally recognized avatars. Basically it’s an image you upload to a site and then when you post comments on Gravatar enabled sites, it shows up. Here, as with other Wordpress sites, if you don’t have a Gravatar then you get assigned a unique MonsterID. I mean, you don’t want to be left out right? If you’d like to get in on the Gravatar action, pull up the Gravatar website and set up your free account. Then leave a comment here and show off your sweet new visual identity.
