Blockbuster Online

Blockbuster VideoFor more than a year now I have been a member of Blockbuster’s version of Netflix and I have to say it is well worth my $18 a month. For that price I get up to three discs at a time as well as coupons for free in-store rentals. That benefit alone makes Blockbuster’s service better then it’s competitor as I usually use the in-store coupons for video games which are $7.99 for a week’s rental.

What I have been using Blockbuster Online for lately — and is the reason for the feature here — are television shows. Because just about every television show ever made is getting placed on DVD these days I have gotten into some shows I probably wouldn’t have turned on otherwise. Over the last few months I have seen, thanks to Blockbuster Online, every episode of Arrested Development, the entire first season of Veronica Mars and will be tackling the first season of 24 next. These are all shows which I heard were good and, through Blockbuster Online, got hooked on. Check them out.
